Lamb Shank

Lamb shanks are truly one of the most delectable pieces of the lamb! They can be prepared in a variety of ways, including roasting, simmering and slow cooking. Cracking the shank allows access to the marrow inside, and long-simmered shanks make an amazing soup base or broth. 
Shanks are individually packaged and weigh between 0.5 and 1.0 lbs, although the majority of them weigh about 0.70 lbs.
