Raw Fleeces

We have a wide variety of fleeces available for purchase. We do not currently have individual fleeces listed on this page (although we're working on it!), so please feel free to reach out to us with specific requests for fleeces of a certain breed and/or color.
General descriptions of our fleeces are below, with photos provided of representative fleeces.

Pricing

Icelandic & Icelandic-Friesian

Average skirted weight is 3-7 lbs for adults and 2-4 lbs for lambs.

Lamb Fleeces: $1.50/oz. ($24/lb)

Adult Fleeces: $1.00/oz. ($16/lb)

Lincoln Longwool

Average skirted weight is 5-12 lbs for adults and 1.5-4 lbs for lambs.

Lamb Fleeces: $1.25/oz. ($20/lb)

Adult Fleeces: $1.00/oz. ($16/lb)

Scouring Services

Are you excited about transforming raw fleece into a finished product, but aren't so excited about washing it? We can wash for you! Add $10/lb. for Icelandic and $12/lb. for Lincoln fleeces (based on the raw fiber weight). Scouring includes an initial soak/rinse, 1-2 washes in Unicorn Power Scour, and 1-2 clean rinses. You can expect your fleece to lose 30-50% of its weight in the scouring process.
